...YOU ARE NOW IN ORBIT.....this is one of our favorites of the Spring 2011 season.   Flaunting an outrageous outer space theme and large stash spot (approx. 3 cubic inches each side), the Omar Salazar is your best bet for fun in the sun.  Forget all of your planatery worries because this shoe solves all of your problems with a gorgeous vulcanized-gum outsole (i.e. sticky and durable).  Plush suede on the toe box and Nike's Flywire in the heel portion of the upper keep your things where they need to be (the shoes is quite stiff out of the box, but give it 24hrs to break-in and you will be ready for liftoff). Double stitching for double durability, duh.  Check the tape:

FINALLY.  

Since the Nike SB acquistion of Eric Koston in 2009, everyone (EVERYONE) has speculated about this shoe... it has now surfaced for release SUMMER 2011.  You will notice some of the photos show the Lunarlon insoles, this is a new development for Nike SB.   Lunarlon is lighter, bouncy-er, disperses weight more evenly than arguably any other midsole foam across all brands, and has never been featured in a SB shoe.  The Lunarlon insole will sit atop a  Nike Zoom Air unit in the heal of the shoe, providing superior impact protection while maintaining a low profile.  The first release of the Koston One will have an all suede upper, but we can only imagine what is to come.  Many are comparing this shoe to the Paul Rodriguez 2.5 and the Zoom FC Bruin.  Stay tuned for more on this shoe- and check out The Berrics for more on Eric Koston.

STEFAN JANOSKI MID- RELEASE: SUMMER 2011

      

Set for release Summer 2011, the Stefan Janoski MID by Nike SB, will likely will inherit the massive popularity spawned by its predecessor.   Undoubtedly, this shoe will be compared to the Vans Chukka Mid.  However, don't get ahead of yourself: this shoe has taken the game to a new level.  Often referred to as a 'boat shoe,' you can do a lot more than sail in this gem.  We can expect the shoe to be built off the same Janoski midsole (featuring Zoom Air technology in the heel for impact protection), paired with a suede upper with double/triple stitching and waxed leather laces).  Increased ankle support has many excited by the 'skate-ability" of this shoe.  If you are looking for a shoe with superior durability and timeless appeal, look no further.
